It’s a fork of Spotifuck by deviato, ported from smali to clean Kotlin. all free, all open-source.

Quick Start: The Certificate Thing

Spotilol generates a local CA cert so Spotify doesn’t know you’re in a WebView. it lives on your device, stays on your device.
● open Spotilol — you’ll see the “Certificate Required” screen
● tap “Export .pem” to save it to your Downloads
● go to Settings > Security > Encryption & Credentials > Install a certificate > CA certificate
● find spotilol_ca.pem in your Downloads and tap it
● it’ll warn you about network monitoring — tap “Install anyway”
● come back to Spotilol and tap “Check”. if it worked, you’re in.

● Note: if you ever clear your device’s credential storage (like after a factory reset), you’ll have to do this again.

Theme presets – 18 dark themes to choose from (Spotilol, Catppuccin, Tokyo Night, Dracula, Nord, Gruvbox, Solarized, One Dark, Everforest, Kanagawa, Rosé Pine, Ayu and Monokai Pro) in Settings, Appearance. The chosen theme colors the whole app.
Turkish localization – Spotilol now speaks nine languages.
In-app language switcher – change the app language from Settings, no restart and no system settings.
Clear third-party logins – sign out of Google, Facebook and Apple in one tap while keeping your Spotify session.
Navigation prompt ducking – the music drops to 20% while Waze or Google Maps speaks, then comes right back.
Track, disc and year tags – downloads now write the track number, disc number and year into the MP3 and M4A files.
Fast Startup – a setting that skips the splash loading hold and boots straight into the app.
Material 3 Expressive loading indicator on the splash screen.

Accent Color is gone – the palette picker was replaced by the theme preset system. The theme now drives the splash, the settings, the offline screen, the notifications, the widgets and the injected web player.
New splash layout – the loader sits in the center and the Spotilol wordmark moved to the bottom. The loader stays for 4 seconds unless Fast Startup is on.
Android Auto – the WebView is now owned by the media service, so Android Auto answers on a cold start and browsing is instant on every reconnect.
Reverted security hardening – the origin-scoped bridge, the navigation blocking and the scoped user CAs were reverted, restoring third-party logins and normal navigation.
Always Close Now Playing is off by default.
Full screen player – the header sits a little lower.
Logger – old entries are no longer dropped.
Update changelog popup was removed.

media metadata (album, cover and duration) now follows the track that is actually playing, instead of the last one fetched
external browser routing and Facebook login
Google sign-in, by allowing third-party cookies
Google SID relay hosts are allowed during navigation again
YouTube locale values are sanitized, so requests no longer fail with a 400
download search errors are surfaced instead of swallowed, and the HTTP cache directory is correct
blocked analytics requests now get a valid CORS response
the context menu closes with the system back button, and its heart icon is the right size
