A android app that wraps Spotify’s web player with built-in adblocker

A lil Android app that wraps Spotify’s web player with built-in adblocking.

It’s a fork of Spotifuck by deviato, ported from smali to clean Kotlin. all free, all open-source.

Features

● Blocks audio ads

● Media notification with play/pause, skip, seek, like/unlike

● It works with lock screen, Bluetooth, Wear OS

● Autoplay modes: off, once at start, or permanent

● Mobile-friendly CSS/JS layout tweaks

● AMOLED dark mode (pure black)

● Keeps screen on while you’re vibing

● Browse your library through Spotify’s API

● Update checker (auto & manual)

Quick Start: The Certificate Thing

Spotilol generates a local CA cert so Spotify doesn’t know you’re in a WebView. it lives on your device, stays on your device.

● open Spotilol — you’ll see the “Certificate Required” screen

● tap “Export .pem” to save it to your Downloads

● go to Settings > Security > Encryption & Credentials > Install a certificate > CA certificate

● find spotilol_ca.pem in your Downloads and tap it

● it’ll warn you about network monitoring — tap “Install anyway”

● come back to Spotilol and tap “Check”. if it worked, you’re in.

● Note: if you ever clear your device’s credential storage (like after a factory reset), you’ll have to do this again.

★ NOTE – Proxy mode is deprecated and has been fully removed from the codebase. If the app doesn’t load for any reason, clear the app data just in case.

What’s New:
added

Sleep timer rework – quick presets, an end-of-song mode and a pause/quit action.

Offline repeat – repeat off, all or one in the offline player.

Offline swipe + cover art – swipe up or down to open or close the full screen player, which now tints itself with the cover art color.

Locate a track – open a downloaded track with any file manager, straight from the track row.

Music video – music video support and connect / A-V buttons in the full player.

Context menu + sort and columns – a context menu bottom sheet, and the sort / columns button moved under the playlist title.

French localization.

Playback diagnostics – WebView version and Widevine level are logged on startup.

changed

Proxy mode is gone – the MITM proxy, its certificate flow, the connection mode setting and the CA trust were removed. The app always runs in normal mode now.

GUI Hack Mode – the dead selector was removed, only Mobile CSS + JS remains.

Hardening – hardcoded toasts moved to string resources, the network security config trusts system anchors only, and protected media is granted to any Spotify host and logged.

fixed

offline audio focus and ducking now behave correctly

the splash always renders, no more black screen

stale proxy era preferences are cleaned up on launch

This app has no advertisements
