Cordless: Bluetooth remote v1.4.2 [Pro]
Requirements: Android 10 and up
Overview: Turn your phone into a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and controller. No host app. TRY IT FREE FIRST. Pair your phone and test the free keyboard and touchpad with the device you want to control. Only buy Pro once that works: most setups pair fine, but some don’t, and nothing can tell in advance.

• TRY IT FREE FIRST. Pair your phone and test the free keyboard and touchpad with the device you want to control. Only buy Pro once that works: most setups pair fine, but some don’t, and nothing can tell in advance. Pro adds features – it can’t make a device pair.

Cordless turns your Android phone into a wireless keyboard, touchpad, media remote and game controller for your PC, laptop, tablet, TV box or HTPC. It uses Android’s built-in Bluetooth HID support, so your phone pairs like an ordinary Bluetooth keyboard – nothing to install on the other device.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Keyboard: a full on-screen keyboard with modifiers, a quick text-input bar and 300+ host keyboard layouts.
• Share to type: share text from any app and Cordless types it on the other device.
• Touchpad: a smooth mouse pad with left, middle and right buttons, two-finger scroll and a scroll strip.
• Media keys: play/pause, volume and other media controls.
• Remotes: build your own button layouts – a media remote, a presentation clicker, or app shortcuts.
• Gamepad: on-screen sticks, D-pads and buttons for PC and Android games.
• Custom layout editor: place buttons freely – shapes, sizes, colours, borders, icons – and assign any keyboard, media, mouse or gamepad action.
• Themes: restyle your controls with built-in presets or save your own.
• Macros: record a sequence of key presses once and reuse it on any button.
• Backup & restore: export your whole setup to a file and bring it back any time.

HOW IT CONNECTS
Cordless uses the native Android Bluetooth HID device role, so the other device sees a standard Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and gamepad. To connect the first time, open your computer or TV’s own “Add a Bluetooth device” screen and pick your phone. If the two were paired before, unpair them on both sides first. After that, Cordless reconnects automatically.

DEVICE COMPATIBILITY
Two devices have to cooperate: your phone, and the device you want to control. Most combinations work, some don’t, and there is no reliable way to tell in advance.

Reliable: Windows PCs and laptops, Macs, Linux, Android phones and tablets.

Known not to work:
• Some Xiaomi phones, including Redmi and POCO (same MIUI/HyperOS software). The sign: you start pairing from your computer and the phone shows “Incorrect PIN or passkey”. The computer may still look paired, but nothing works. No app can fix this – it is in the phone’s own Bluetooth firmware, below what apps can touch. The same app pairs fine on other brands such as Samsung.
• Chromecast with Google TV, which won’t pair with a phone acting as a keyboard.

Hit and miss: TVs, streaming boxes and some other devices. Some manufacturers only allow specific Bluetooth devices to pair – earphones and earbuds, their own remote, sometimes a game controller – and refuse everything else. Others work perfectly. Trying is the only way to find out.

Please report what does and doesn’t work on your own devices.

USING THE GAMEPAD ON A COMPUTER
The gamepad connects as a standard Bluetooth controller and works natively on Android. On Windows and macOS most games only accept Xbox (XInput) controllers, so run it through Steam Input or a tool like x360ce, reWASD or DS4Windows. This applies to generic controllers in general, not just Cordless.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No ads. No trackers. No analytics. No account.

FREE, WITH AN OPTIONAL ONE-TIME UPGRADE
The free version gives you a fully working keyboard and touchpad, with no time limit – use it to check your devices before you upgrade.

Cordless Pro is a single one-time purchase, no subscriptions ever. It unlocks remote layouts, gamepad controls, the custom layout editor, themes, macros, backup & restore and extra settings.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Available in 50 languages.
• Works on Android 10 and newer.
• Game consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) are not supported – they reject standard Bluetooth controllers. Cordless targets PC and Android.

Modifications:
✪ Pro / Paid features unlocked;
✪ Removed unnecessary files;
✪ All Debug Codes Removed;

– New Guide / Home button on the gamepads.
– Slide your thumb from one gamepad button to the next without lifting it.
– Small fixes and improvements.
