Stash v0.9.111 (Spotify + YouTube Music client)
Requirements: 8.0+
Overview: Stash is an offline-first Android music player that syncs your liked songs, playlists, daily mixes, and discover mixes from both Spotify and YouTube Music into a single unified local library. Tracks are downloaded as high-quality FLAC audio.

Your Spotify + YouTube Music library, offline in FLAC for free.

Stash is an offline-first Android music player that syncs your liked songs, playlists, daily mixes, and discover mixes from both Spotify and YouTube Music into a single unified local library. Tracks are downloaded as high-quality FLAC audio.

Stash is not an online streaming service. It’s a personal-library tool for people who already have Spotify or YouTube Music accounts and want their library available offline on their terms. Studio quality tracks, they’re yours to keep.

Features
● Offline everything — tracks download as high-quality lossless audio
● Bulletproof matching — finds the right version of tracks 99% of the time
● Custom playlists — create your own playlists and save tracks to them from anywhere.
● Spotify & YT sync preferences — choose exactly which playlists, liked songs, daily mixes, and discovery mixes to sync. Individual toggles for each. Don’t want Daily Mix 3? Turn it off.
● Expanded Spotify mix detection — Release Radar, Discover Weekly, On Repeat, Daylist, Repeat Rewind, Time Capsule, and Daily Mixes 1-6 are all automatically detected when available. Each gets its own toggle.
● Refresh vs Accumulate sync modes — mixes can either replace their contents each sync (Refresh) or stack new tracks on top of what’s already there (Accumulate). Your call.
● Parallel downloads — 8 simultaneous tracks. Background sync runs as a foreground service so it actually finishes with the phone locked.
● High-res album art
● Automatic update notifications — checks GitHub for new releases daily and notifies you when one is available.
● Full equalizer — 5-band EQ with presets, bass boost, and virtualizer
● Spotify sign-in built in — just log into Spotify inside the app
● Private by design — credentials encrypted with AES-256-GCM, no servers, no telemetry, nothing leaves your phone
● Free and open source — no subscriptions, no ads, GPL-3.0

What’s New:
Links worth sharing
Sharing a song as a Stash link now gives you a short link, like stashfm.app/t/IQYqUv4T. Paste it into a chat and the preview shows the song’s album art, title and artist, the way Spotify and YouTube Music links do. Friends without Stash can open the link and play the song on Spotify or YouTube Music.

Mix links and Listen Together invites moved to stashfm.app too. Links you shared before keep working.

What’s new
● Playback speed. Tap the speed button at the top of Now Playing and pick anything from 0.25x to 2x, or set your own. Voices keep their normal pitch. Listen Together sessions always play at normal speed. Thanks to @ParaliyzedEvo (#547).
● Check for FLAC upgrades whenever you like: Settings → Library & Storage → Library Health → FLAC upgrades. Songs with no FLAC version are skipped for two weeks, so a check doesn’t keep asking for the same ones. Thanks to @ParaliyzedEvo (#544).
● ● Heads-up: FLAC upgrades no longer run on their own after every sync. To keep that, turn on Settings → Audio & Quality → Auto-upgrade to FLAC after sync. If your Sync tab is set to Wi-Fi only, upgrades wait for Wi-Fi too.

✨ Smaller improvements
● Fixing a wrong match works for songs that were recorded more than once, and Stash tells you how it went (#540).
● Albums that Qobuz doesn’t sell in your country now open from YouTube Music instead of failing (#539).
● Word-by-word lyrics show in the right order on phones set to a right-to-left language. Thanks to @ParaliyzedEvo (#529).
● The quality badge names the real format of a song, like WAV or ALAC, instead of always saying FLAC.

– Bug fixes
● No more surprise downloads after updating. Background downloads only take songs you asked for, and old waiting downloads from earlier versions are cleared (#536).
● Sync downloads the song, not the music video (#537).
● Mixes refresh every day again, even after a failed first run (#528).
● Tapping a song in the queue plays it after a restart (#538).
● The sync notification stays put while songs download, mixes build or the sleep timer runs (#527).
● Importing a song you already have no longer replaces your copy, and deleting one song can no longer delete another song’s audio (#552).
● Lyrics upgrades pick up where they left off after an interrupted run. Thanks to @ParaliyzedEvo (#530).
● Safer handling of downloads, imports and YouTube history. This fixes three security issues: GHSA-mfh5-5jhr-q4v2 (downloads), GHSA-h6qh-5vrr-v554 (imports) and GHSA-6qg7-53qh-33q7 (YouTube history). Thanks to @shahzadhussain786700 for reporting them privately.
