Stash is an offline-first Android music player that syncs your liked songs, playlists, daily mixes, and discover mixes from both Spotify and YouTube Music into a single unified local library. Tracks are downloaded as high-quality FLAC audio.

Stash is not an online streaming service. It’s a personal-library tool for people who already have Spotify or YouTube Music accounts and want their library available offline on their terms. Studio quality tracks, they’re yours to keep.

Lossless now lasts all day. Playing music always comes first; downloads use whatever is left over and finish later in FLAC instead of settling for a lower-quality copy.

What’s new
FLAC that lasts all day. When lots of people are listening, the songs you press play on come first. Big download batches now wait their turn, then finish on their own in FLAC, so the shared lossless supply no longer runs out by the afternoon.
Downloads wait for FLAC instead of going lossy. If lossless is busy, a download now waits and finishes later in FLAC, even with the YouTube fallback turned on. A lower-quality copy saved in a hurry would stay lower quality forever.
Reporting a problem is easier. Home → Report an issue now shows you the diagnostics first, then opens the GitHub issue. Settings → About & Help → Share diagnostics now saves a single file with the full log plus new Lossless and Library sections, so we can usually spot the problem without asking you questions. Emails and sign-in details are removed before anything is shared.

Bug fixes
Songs you tapped Download on could get stuck on “downloading” forever if your phone paused background work (for example on low battery). They now pick up where they left off as soon as the phone allows it.
Library → Liked sorted by “Recently added” is back in the order you liked your songs, instead of looking shuffled. Thanks to @ParaliyzedEvo.
Save to Playlist now works from a song’s menu on the Library → Songs tab. Thanks to @ParaliyzedEvo.

Goodbye, ARCOD
ARCOD is no longer part of Stash, and the Connect ARCOD option is gone from Settings → Audio & Quality. If you had connected it, the saved ARCOD sign-in is removed from your phone automatically. Lossless now comes from your own Qobuz account, your own relay, or Stash’s lossless service.

Known limitations
On very busy days, big download batches can take until the next day to finish. Playing music is never held back.
