Stash is an offline-first Android music player that syncs your liked songs, playlists, daily mixes, and discover mixes from both Spotify and YouTube Music into a single unified local library. Tracks are downloaded as high-quality FLAC audio.

Stash is not an online streaming service. It’s a personal-library tool for people who already have Spotify or YouTube Music accounts and want their library available offline on their terms. Studio quality tracks, they’re yours to keep.

What’s New:
Lossless
● Stash’s own relay. With no Qobuz account connected, FLAC now comes from a relay the project runs on its own paid Qobuz accounts. Settings › Audio & Quality shows it as Stash lossless · configured. Your phone gets a short-lived Qobuz CDN link for the track you tapped; the audio never passes through the relay. It is sized as a bridge, not the main path: a few hundred tracks a day across everyone, and busy hours fall back to JioSaavn AAC 320 or YouTube exactly as before.
● Your own Qobuz account still comes first and costs the project nothing. Connect it in Settings › Audio & Quality; the routing rows now report the real state of each source instead of a hardcoded line.
● Pasted a token in an older version? Reconnect with your Qobuz email and password. A pasted token can no longer sign requests on its own, so until you do, Stash quietly uses the shared relay instead of your account while Settings still says Connected (token).
● Custom lossless endpoint. If you run your own relay, paste its URL in Settings › Audio & Quality; the Test button checks it is reachable.
● The shipped token pool is gone. Stash no longer carries anyone’s Qobuz tokens. Leftover pool tokens from older versions are purged from your device the first time lossless resolves after updating.
● “Direct Qobuz” toggle removed. If you had it switched off, lossless comes back on this update; a stale setting can no longer disable it.
● Home discovery works with no account. New Releases, Top Albums and Qobuz Playlists load without a connected account.
● Amazon Music source removed. It had been down for months.
● ARCOD daily quota. When ARCOD answers “Daily quota reached”, Stash now waits until midnight UTC instead of spending a request on every play.

Sync
● A Spotify playlist that had been filed as a mix finds its way back to Playlists on the next sync. The Sync tab’s playlist count is right again. (#437)

Library
● Tapping an album card opens the album; the play button on the card plays it.

Under the hood
● No relay hostname is in the APK. The app fetches a signed config at each cold start, and the README now lists every host Stash contacts and why. A build from a plain source checkout has no relay at all.

Known issue: with Save Data on and your own Qobuz account connected, tracks fall back to JioSaavn AAC 320 instead of Qobuz MP3 320, and an account connected by pasting a token may be disconnected. Turn Save Data off, or reconnect the account, until the fix lands in the next release.
