What’s New:
Soul2 Browser is a modified version of Soul Browser by SoulSoft (the source code of which was obtained through decompilation). The original application has not received updates for 7 months (the last version is 1.4.85).

The goal of the project is to fix long-standing bugs and add long-awaited features:

⭐ Privacy: all trackers, ads and in-app purchases have been removed;

⭐ YouTube background playback and fixed picture-in-picture mode: listen to Soul content while doing other things;

⭐ PDF preview: now you don’t need to download files to see their content;

⭐Dark theme for individual sites: the ability to disable forced darkening for those resources that already have a dark theme (or look incorrect with it);

⭐Cloudflare WARP: routing HTTP requests through Cloudflare’s VPN service;

⭐ Website data backup: no need to log in again when switching between app versions or devices;

⭐ Advanced settings: flexible link preview settings, long-press menu for the tab bar, address bar, and selected text, default color selection for tab groups, and more;

⭐ Precise on-page search: added options for whole-word and case-sensitive search;

⭐ Full timestamps in history: display hours, minutes, and seconds;

⭐ DevTools and JSON viewer: access Eruda DevTools directly from the menu (no need to activate a user script each time); convenient viewing of JSON responses — just like in Firefox;

⭐ Display of image titles and alt text: long-press on an image displays a more informative description;

⭐ Improved tab management: Ability to copy URLs (multiple or all at once) to the clipboard as a list; select a range of tabs with a long press;

⭐ Improved performance: opening a page from preview mode now occurs without reloading it; advanced settings allow you to disable restoring previously opened tabs (to load “clean” pages on startup); fixed a bug due to which the search query from the address bar was not passed to the “Search in page” function;

⭐ Fixed file downloads initiated via JavaScript: no more issues with files like “downloadfile.txt”; downloads from links with the “blob://” prefix are also supported.
