DNS Shield is a private DNS and firewall app for Android phones and tablets. It controls where DNS lookups are sent and which installed apps are allowed to access the network.

Private DNS
Every time your device opens an app or loads a page, DNS translates domain names into addresses. DNS Shield sends these lookups to a privacy-focused resolver instead of relying on the default resolver provided by your network.

Encrypted DNS (DoH)
• Use DNS over HTTPS to encrypt DNS lookups.
• Helps prevent your network operator from reading the domain names your device resolves.
• Helps prevent DNS spoofing and injected redirects.

Per-App Firewall
• Open Block Internet and disable network access for individual apps.

Custom Domain Lists
• Add domains to your personal blocked list.

• Lists are stored locally on your device and can be edited at any time.

Network Monitor
• View domains requested by your device and when they were accessed.
• Block or allow domains directly from the activity log.
• The log is stored locally and is not uploaded.
• The feature can be disabled from Settings.
