Television
-Moving down a row now always lands on artwork you can see. A tile scrolled off the side of a row could take the highlight, which looked like the highlight vanishing and could open a title that was not on screen.
-The home screen now opens on the featured title every time. Rows load in the background, and a row arriving late could take the highlight down to the bottom of the page.
– Holding a direction key now walks smoothly through the rows instead of losing the highlight partway.
-Holding OK on a title opens its options, and a short tutorial now points this out the first time. Closing it returns you to the title you were on.
-Highlights now trace the true shape of rounded and pill shaped buttons.
-Added a card size setting for the big screen, so artwork can be made larger or smaller to suit how far away you sit.
-Pressing down from the featured title now moves into the rows every time. It could previously appear to do nothing at all.
-The app no longer jumps or scrolls on its own while the home screen is loading.
-Back buttons are now reachable with a remote on Settings, About, Attributions, My List and the sign-up screen.
-Screens that open with a list no longer highlight the whole page instead of an item.
-The subtitle colour picker can now be operated with a remote.
-Sharing a title now shows the link on screen rather than offering an empty share menu.
-Rebuilt remote navigation across the app. Moving between rows, into and out of lists, and back from a title now behaves consistently, and the item you were on is remembered when you return.
-The side menu now moves through its entries one at a time in both directions and stays put at the top and bottom instead of throwing the highlight into the page behind it.
-Moving right out of the side menu now lands on artwork rather than on a row’s All button.
-Rows of networks and studios now take the highlight properly. It used to disappear on the way in and turn up a row further down.
-Grids now move exactly one row per press, in both directions, and keep your column.
-Every on screen control can now be reached with a remote, including the back, sort, select and delete actions in list headers, and the search field on category screens.
-The menu now opens on Home rather than on the account button.
-Dialogs with a text field no longer open the on screen keyboard on top of their own buttons, which made them impossible to complete or dismiss with a remote.
-Highlights now follow the shape of the control they are on, so rounded and pill shaped buttons no longer get a square outline.
-Fixed the first row of artwork sitting behind the title bar on category, studio and network screens.
-Fixed the highlight disappearing, or landing on a whole row or a whole page instead of a single item.
-Pressing left from a row now moves to the nearest entry in the side menu instead of jumping to the top of it.
-Each row’s All button is now always reachable and has been redesigned.
-The title bar is correctly proportioned and evenly spaced, and the account button sits properly in the corner.
-Settings and account screens no longer show content through a gap above the title bar.
-Pressing left or right on a full width button no longer throws the highlight to the bottom of the screen.
-The app locks to landscape before each screen is drawn, removing the brief rotation when opening a view.
-Skip intro and skip credits are now selected automatically, so they can be actioned straight away.
-The skip credits card no longer covers the player controls on any screen size.
-Stop on the credits card now stops the countdown and lets playback continue, instead of leaving the player.
-Player controls in the top bar are more evenly spaced.
-Picture in picture is correctly disabled, so leaving the player always stops playback.
-Revamped the player scrubber with a slimmer track and a larger handle that grows when selected.
-Accelerated seeking. Hold the remote to skip progressively larger intervals.

Player
-The controls now stay on screen while paused, and only hide when you tap.
-Subtitles redraw immediately after seeking, instead of briefly leaving the previous line up.
-Added a double tap seek animation on the left and right of the screen, including while casting.
-Thicker scrubber and a refined handle on phones and tablets.
-Volume and brightness gestures are smoother. The volume readout now tracks the slider step for step instead of lagging behind it, and picking a slider back up while it is fading no longer makes it flicker. They remain landscape only.
-Adjusting subtitle timing no longer stutters or interrupts playback.
-Subtitles are re-selected when switching servers, but only when the new source is genuinely a different cut. An equivalent source keeps the subtitle and the timing already established for it.
-Tightened subtitle synchronisation over long viewing sessions.
-Fixed one server offering only a single resolution instead of the full quality list.
-Sources load in smaller batches to prevent freezing on lower end devices.

Subtitles
-Unified the language picker across the player and casting screens, with a search filter and a Follow system option.
-Hardened support for non Latin scripts, including right to left rendering for Arabic and Hebrew.
-Importing a subtitle file now confirms with a short message in your own language, and the track is listed as imported.
-Messages shown when a subtitle file cannot be read now appear in your own language.

Casting
-Fixed colour looking wrong on some titles when casting, where the picture could come out green or inverted at anything below the highest quality.
-The credits countdown now counts down a second at a time while casting.
-Skip intro and skip credits no longer sit over the casting controls.
-Skip intro and skip credits now appear while casting, and act on the device you are casting to.
-Tapping the casting notification now returns to the session already in progress instead of opening a second screen over it.
-Added support for casting imported subtitle files.
-Added a button to import subtitle files directly while casting.
-The seek animation also appears when using the skip buttons on the cast screen.

Series
-Episodes now show a tick in the episode list. It fills in green on its own once you finish an episode, and you can tap it yourself to mark one as watched or unwatched at any point.

Browsing
-Removing a title from Continue watching now clears it from the screen straight away.
-The rating and year strip is now the same size everywhere, and no longer leaves a gap for a progress bar on titles you have not started.
-Cast names now appear in readable form on titles from other alphabets, rather than in the original script.
-Turning off “Show ratings and year” now applies everywhere at once, including My List and Favourites.
-Adult titles are now filtered out of browsing more reliably.
-Fixed an empty band appearing above search results.
-Fixed spacing between a title’s description and its cast list.
-Titles open noticeably faster. A large part of the information was being requested twice.
-The featured title’s details line is now translated. It always read Movie or Series in English regardless of your language.
-A title now appears only once per tab. Popular titles were being shown in several rows at the same time.
-Fixed titles appearing in the wrong language when no translation was available for your language. They now fall back to English.
-Artwork and information load directly on your device instead of through our servers, which makes browsing faster.
-Where a network blocks access, the app now finds another route so artwork and titles still load.
-Cast member profiles load faster when revisited.
-Fixed the trailer button doing nothing on a large number of titles.
-The remove option in the long press menu now only appears where it applies, in Continue watching and My List.
-A long biography now keeps its scroll indicator on screen for as long as there is more to read.
-Fixed extra blank space under a cast member biography after expanding it.

Messages
-Announcements and welcome messages now display correctly, at the right size, with formatting preserved.

Settings
-The server picker now opens on the server you are using and scrolls it into view, and its tabs can be swiped between.
-The connection warning shown before playing on mobile data has been redesigned.
-Confirmation dialogs now start on Cancel, so a destructive action is never one press away.
-The server picker’s Languages tab is now More languages, and it reports progress on a single line instead of a block that pushed the results down the screen.
-Updated the description for the ready made list to clarify its data usage.
-The TV mode toggle is visible on all builds for testing the big screen layout on a handset.

General
-Improved reliability and speed of the connection between the app and our servers.
-Fixed text cutting off on the attributions screen on devices with system navigation bars.
-Fixed cast member biographies not loading in regions without translated descriptions.
-Added translations for content loading error messages across all supported languages.
